Good evening Dukes XC Families,

I wanted to let you all know that I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to not coach this next year. I’ve had some changes in my life, most significant of which will be starting graduate school, and I will not have the time to invest in the kids and their success. There’s nothing about the team or the kids that pushed me to leave; I still enjoy every chance I get with them.

It’s been a heck of a ride these last four years getting to know the kids, the program, the families, and cross country here in Virginia. I’m incredibly thankful for all the support I’ve been given by all of you, and I promise to do my best to work with Ms. Hunter to find a passionate replacement that will make sure the kids get what they need.
